This could be the last great road ride of the season with the weather and seasons changing. Therefore, we will split into TWO different road rides: one beginner/intermediate ride and one advanced ride. Both rides will leave from Infinite Cycles at 7:30am on Saturday October 10th.
A few weeks ago, we had a huge turnout of 31 riders. With two groups, everyone will have a group at their level to ride with. Our goal is to have two groups with our rides, a faster group and a slower group, but we need more riders to split. Come out and help us get these two groups established.
The beginner/intermediate ride will ride a course we rode about a month ago. Leaving from the shop, we’ll wind through Bluffdale and down to Thanksgiving Point, up Alpine Highway, over Suncrest, and back to the shop. This is about 32 miles. Check out the ride on Garmin Connect from last month. Again, that map is starting and ending at my house in Herriman, so it cuts out a few miles starting and ending at the shop.
The advanced ride will do the same, but will go up to the top of the American Fork Canyon before taking Suncrest, and back to the shop. This ride will be about 65 miles at a faster pace with a lot more climbing. The course is posted on MapMyRide.com. We’re expecting a good number of riders on this advanced ride.
Questions? Call or email us at the shop. See you then!
