Yesterday the 2012 Cannondale SuperSix EVO was (officially) unveiled. A number of cycling bloggers were invited to the launch in Italy preceding the 2012 Giro d’Italia. We’ve got the official 2012 Evo brochure, specification, and sell sheets today. 695 grams. Speed SAVE. Best stiffness-to-weight ever recorded. More aero. Wow.
The 2012 SuperSix EVO is strikingly similar to many of Cannondale’s new bikes across the line using newer technologies. We suspected the new Super would look a lot like the amazing CAAD10 aluminum road bike, the Flash mountain hardtail, and the SuperX carbon cyclocross bike. And it sure does.
And how sexy is that Liquigas paint job with those wheels!? Unbelievable, and even more desirable with the custom SRAM Red Black with green accents on it.
Road.cc posted a couple of weights, although not official, seem about right. They also have a LOT of pictures on their blog. Be sure to check it out.
- 2012 SuperSix EVO Ultimate – 4.95kg (10.91 pounds)
- 2012 SuperSix EVO Liquigas Team – 6.4kg (14.10 pounds, still too light for UCI)
Pricing has not been announced yet, but these bikes will be available by the end of the year. We ordered our first batch already, are you ordering yours?
