2012 Cannondale Scalpel 29 Pricing Released!

For 2012, there will be four models of the highly anticipated 2012 Cannondale Scalpel 29er full-suspension mountain bike. I saw one at a Cannondale dealer meeting last week and it is one amazing bike. Can’t wait to get out and ride one! The design is a cool blend of the Scalpel we all love, with the new technology found in the Jekyll. With 100mm of suspension travel front and rear, this bike will be a perfect fit for all-day trail riding and almost any condition, as well as a highly versatile mountain bike racing machine.

The new Scalpel 29 will come in four models in 2012, two carbon and two aluminum models.

• Scalpel 29er Carbon 1 – $6900
• Scalpel 29er Carbon 2 – $4800
• Scalpel 29er Alloy 3 – $3000
• Scalpel 29er Alloy 4 – $2300

Carbon models are expected to start shipping in November 2011, and aluminum models shipping January 2012. More details coming as quickly as they are available.
