Registration is open for the 13th annual Tour de Riverton! We’ve been doing the Tour de Riverton for many years and it is one of our favorite events. If you haven’t participated in the past, it is a 25 mile family-friendly fun ride through scenic Riverton and Herriman. Starting at Riverton City Park during Riverton Town Days, we ride west through historical Riverton and up to Bacchus Highway to a scenic overlook near the Kennecott Copper Mine. From there, we descend through historical Herriman and back down to the park.
Riverton Town Days is an all day event with lots of fun things to see and do with your family. Make sure you plan on attending the Chuck Wagon Breakfast ($3 for adults, $2 for children) after the ride. Check out the ATV Rodeo from 9am-1pm. Riverton puts on a great celebration on the 4th of July.
Register online at TourDeRiverton.com now. Make sure that you register before June 10th to guarantee a t-shirt and water bottle. We have had over 400 participants in past years so we hope you are able to join us this year! Families are welcome to come with kids and trailers and have a good time. There is a shortcut for little ones that cuts off some of the bigger climbs. All updates including the course and other information will be posted on TourDeRiverton.com.
The ride starts July 4, 2013 at 7am. Let us know if you have any questions about the ride. Hope to see you all there!
