Fox Recalls Select 2013 Float 32 and 34 Evolution Series Mountain Bike Forks

  • Fox Shox has issued a recall on select 32 and 34 Evolution Series suspension forks. The issue is that the fork damper cylinder / pinston assembly in some of these units may separate and allow the fork to over-extend in certain circumstances, possibly causing the front wheel to detach from the bicycle while in use, creating a fall hazard.

This fork was included on the following bicycles sold at Infinite Cycles in the last year:

    • 2013 Cannondale Jekyll Carbon 2
    • 2013 Cannondale Jekyll Alloy 3

You will find the attached a scan of the recall notice to this page. Once you’ve identified that you do have one of the forks specified, record the serial number on the bottom of the crown. Fox has setup an interactive form on their website to see if your fork is one of those included in the recall.

The form and additional information regarding this recall can be found at http://ridefox.com/recall.

If you have any questions about the recall beyond what is posted on their website, please contact Fox at 855.360.3488.
