Finally a bike made specifically for Utah riding. It wouldn’t be fair to call this an all-mountain bike, because it makes all other bikes obsolete. In Utah, we always earn our downhills with some long slow climbs. Here’s a bike that makes it easy and fun. Overmountain is the new category Cannondale came up with to solve the age-old debate of up or down. Now you can have both. Using some unique technologies, the Jekyll carbon and aluminum is both a 150mm trail bike, and a nimble 90mm climbing bike. Flip a couple switches and your travel, damping characteristics, and geometry changes for ideal conditions. 2011 Jekyll carbon bikes weigh best in class between 25.4 and 27 pounds.

A collaboration between Cannondale and Fox created a rear shock that is truly 2-in-1, not just  a lockout. Not only does the DYAD shock limit the travel on the Elevate mode, it also changes the geometry so it is more suited for climbing. The Flow mode slackens the geometry and increases travel for downhill speed and control. The wide spacing of double-stacked pivots gives stiffness and control not found on other bikes.
