2011 Cannondale SuperSix Full Carbon
If you are familiar with Cannondale’s 2010 road bike line, you’re asking ‘where is the Six carbon?’ It’s right here. Cannondale has been able to take the award (and race) winning SuperSix, and bring models down to just $2000, the same price as last year’s Six carbon. You get unheard of performance without spending a fortune.
SuperSix is Cannondale’s fastest, most efficient road bike ever. Get pro level performance without needing a sponsor.
The Hi-Mod version of this frame uses High Modulus carbon fiber throughout to save weight. Simply put, the higher modulus gives a higher strength to weight ratio, so less carbon is needed for strength and performance. The Hi-Mod frame saves roughly a quarter-pound over the standard SuperSix frame. Gain a tiny amount of weight, save thousands of dollars. People sometimes incorrectly call this the ‘low-mod’ frame, but there is nothing low about it… but the price.
Some of the highlights that make each SuperSix so advanced are the
- BeatBox – oversized BB30 bottom bracket area that turns power into speed rather than twisting and absorbing your pedaling
- Asymmetric Chainstays – help resist twisting load caused by the chain on one side, without a weight penalty
- Deep Radius Headtube – increases front end stiffness dramatically resulting in the best handling, most predictable ride in road bikes today
- Ovalized Top Tube – further increases rigidity while cornering and sprinting
You’ve got to ride it to believe it. We’ve sold a lot of SuperSix bikes, come ride one to see why.
