Group Rides

Sure, bike shops are interested in selling bikes. We’re also interested in you riding your bike. Join us for our group rides!

Our team rides quite a bit and everyone is welcome to ride with us on those rides. The pace is a often faster than our regular group rides, and the group divides based on ability.

Strava

No matter when, how, or whom you ride with, make sure you record it on Strava. They say, “If it isn’t on Strava, it didn’t happen.” Join one or both of our Strava groups!

stravabanner

If you’re unfamiliar with Strava, simply put, it is a social network where you log your bike rides (or runs) using your Garmin, GPS, or smartphone (free app for iOS and Android). After uploading, you see how your ride compares with your past rides in that same section of road or trail (called a segment), and with others on that same segment. Record your best times. Monitor your own progress. Suffer more. Challenge yourself and others in your own backyard. Strive for the Holy Grail of Strava, the KOM (King of the Mountain, or corresponding Queen of the Mountain)! Follow and be followed by fellow cyclists and see how you measure up.

  • Riverton Road Rides

    Group Rides

Join us every Saturday morning for group rides leaving from the Riverton location. Come ride with us, everyone is welcome.

Plan on 20-25 miles. The group naturally breaks into smaller groups based on ability and pace. Everyone is invited and everyone is welcome. Sometimes we ride in the Riverton/Herriman/South Jordan area, other times we will head south to Utah County.

The best place to get details about our rides is on our Facebook page or our Calendar.

  • Highland Road Rides

    afcanyoninstagram

Rides from our Highland store have not been heavily attended in the past and that will change this year. So many of you are riding in that area with Suncrest, American Fork Canyon, and other great rides right in our backyard. Keep an eye out for more information about some awesome upcoming plans to do more rides from the Highland location.

Many of you attended the group ride we had with the Liquigas-Cannondale pro cycling team at our grand opening a couple years ago. With your help, we can have a group that size every weekend!

  • Mountain Bike Rides

    Corner Canyon

Come ride with us each Thursday evening at 5:30pm. Most of the time we meet at the Equestrian Center in Draper to ride Corner Canyon. We also ride Lambert Park in Alpine. Join our mountain bike group on Facebook and/or the email group to get specifics on the ride of the week.
